Gremien und Mitgliedschaften

Dr. Robin Horst is actively involved in several committees, including the technical committees of the IEEE Consumer Technology Society (CTSoc) on HCI & UX and Entertainment Computing & Gaming. He also contributes to the commitees of the IEEE CoG, IFIP ICEC, and IEEE GEM. Additionally, he serves as an ACM-certified reviewer and is a reviewer for various scientific conferences, such as ACM VRST, IEEE ISMAR, ACM DIS, ACM CSCW, ICAT-EGVE, and for numerous academic journals, including IEEE TVCG, ACM JOCCH, Elsevier’s Social Sciences & Humanities, Springer Nature’s Discover Psychology, and Taylor & Francis’s International Journal of Human–Computer Interaction.

In addition to receiving multiple scholarships, such as the Deutschlandstipendium, the AUFnet Scholarship Abroad, and the College Contact Scholarship for Natural Sciences, Dr. Robin Horst has been awarded Best Paper (IEEE), Best Poster, and Best Presentation (IEEE) awards at various conferences. He has also received a regional Innovation Award and was honored as the Best Graduate of his Master's program. 

Dr. Robin Horst is a member of the research group Learning and Visual Systems (LAVIS) and co-founder of the student-led HSRM Game Dev Team. He has also served as an advisor and consultant to the Wiesbaden City Parliament and the Hessian State Parliament on matters related to electronic sports and serious games technologies.
