Very Hot Summer School in Germany - CEWiCoT'23

The Faculty of Engineering at RheinMain University of Applied Science is organizing a summer school with the title of "Computer Engineering for Wireless Communications & IoT - CEWICoT'23" within the period from 04.09.2023 – 15.09.2023 in Rüsselsheim in Germany.

The International representative of the Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (IET), Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Hadidy is organizing two wees in the following hot topics:

  • Software Defined Radio Programming                                                  (Tutorials and Practical Labs)
  • Signal Processig / Detection  and Matlab Simulation                         (Tutorials and Practical Labs)
  • IoT Wireless Systems and Networking Technologies                          (Tutorials and Practical Labs)
  • Future IoT Wireless: LoRA, Bluetooth-LE, LowPower WLAN             (Tutorials and Practical Labs)
  • Machine Learning for Communications and IoT                                  (Tutorials and Practical Labs)
  • Chipless RFID Systems: Future Bar Code                                               (Tutorials and Practical Labs)

 

The Summer School includes:

  • Weekend: Three Social Events and Sightseeing Trips
  • Three Industrial Trips and Scientific Excursions
  • Evening: 24 Hours Intensive German Course (Optional)
  • Non-Technical Seminar (Studying in Germany, Why Germany?)

The Summer School is open to all Bachelor and Master students, PhD Candidates and Researchers of all engineering specializations of Computer Engineering, Wireless Communications, Control Engineering, Mechatronics and those are working in the fields of Internet of Things, Smart Homes, Industry 4.0 and Smart Cities.  

A summer school is especially designed to give you a deep practical experience in the field, where the participant will be able to perform practical experiments and lead real-world projects.

The course counts as an elective course and for participating in the two-week Summer School, every participant* receives 5 CPs!

Three Industrial Excursions:

  • European Space Agency – Main Control Room
  • German Airport Control Station
  • Opel Factory

Three Social Events:

  • Grill – Arabian Mandy
  • Good-Bye Dinner

Rüdesheim Cable Car and Main Boat

The Summer School is partially supported by the RheinMain University of Applied Science with an amount of 6000 €

  • Registration in the Summer School is open till 15.06.2023. You have to fill in the Registration Form and send it back.
  • Early Bird Registration 01.06.2023           (684€)
    Late Registration: 15.062023                     (784€)
  • Registration fees includes accommodation in Three-Bed room in a hotel in the City Center for 13 nights.
    Upgrade for Double-Bed Room is possible against extra 85 €
    Upgrade for Single-Bed Room is possible against extra 325 €
  • Registration fees includes daily lunch in the Campus dining hall
  • The respective participant fees include all costs for excursions and field trips. There are no Hidden Fees.
  • Fees is including neither Flight Tickets nor Visa Expenses.
