In the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering at Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts, students contribute their creativity and expertise to practical projects - from innovative conversions and competitions to a regatta in a concrete canoe. These diverse student projects demonstrate the connection between teaching and real-life application and prove our claim to practice-oriented and sustainable learning.
Prizes for student designs for sustainable transformation
26.08.2024 - In the summer semester 2024, students of the "Architecture | Building Revitalization and Transformation" master's degree program developed designs for the sustainable transformation of the "TeckCenter" in Kirchheim unter Teck and presented them to the owners, the city administration and the Chamber of Architects.
Participation in the concrete canoe regatta
31.07.2024 - A team from the Civil Engineering degree program at Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts takes part in the regatta every two years. In 2024, this was the case in Brandenburg/Havel. Another regatta is planned for 2026.

23.05.2024 - With the "HSRM-Stadtlabor", a pop-up studio for the Architecture degree programs at Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSRM), the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering is now moving to the Luisenforum, making itself even more visible in Wiesbaden's city center.
Utilization concepts for monasteries in the UNESCO World Heritage Site
15.05.2024 - On the occasion of project D "Evaluation and Development in a Historical Context", Prof. Dr. Cristian Abrihan and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Drebes held a workshop with students from the Architectural Heritage Conservation (B.Sc.) and Real Estate (M.Sc.) degree programs at St. Hildegard Monastery in Rüdesheim am Rhein.
New living for Alt-Klarenthal
16.02.2023 - What could a sustainable transformation of the historic Hofgut Klarenthal ensemble in Wiesbaden look like? Architecture students at Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSRM) set themselves this task as part of the HSRM ideas workshop "New Living Wiesbaden".
Growing old on the Gräselberg
14.02.2023 - The Evangelische Lukasgemeinde Wiesbaden invited people to the local St. Luke's Church to present designs for a redesign of the grounds around the church. The concepts and models were presented by Master's students from Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
