Further questions?

What is it?

The Mobility Management degree program is all about future mobility and transportation. You will learn to plan sustainable transportation systems while mastering economic and communicative challenges. During your studies, you may specialize in different areas such as transport planning and mobility research.
We value interactive teaching methods and hands-on projects. You will broaden your knowledge through real case studies and develop skills in all areas of mobility management.

What can I do with it?

You can create more livable cities by designing successful mobility concepts, creating pioneering apps, or incorporating smart bicycle path plans.
After graduation, you may pursue opportunities in transport planning, developing new mobility concepts at transport companies, or consulting for on-demand services.
You might also choose to start your own mobility start-up.

For degree-seeking students: detailed information on admission requirements, application deadlines, etc. can be found on the German page.

Course of study

The study plan offers you an overview of the content and specializations taught in each semester.
We use interactive teaching methods in small groups, supported by practitioners from the transport industry. This gives you the skills you need for your career. Further details can be found in the module handbook (PO2023, as of July 2023).

Our study projects are implemented with various cooperation partners from mobility and transport, which underlines our practice-oriented approach. Our graphic gives you an overview of the progress of the projects - from data collection and the development of mobility concepts to the design of mobility management processes and services.

Insights into studies

  • Leonard Deike, urbanymotors

My studies helped me to look at mobility from different perspectives and to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist. This was the basics for founding my own start-up with urbanymotors.

  • Niklas Trimborn, Alumnus

The highlights of my studies were the practical relevance, the direct line to the professors and the exchange in the lecture hall with many like-minded people. This 'bubble' is simply great fun! Many doors are open to you after graduation - it was the right decision.
