Institute of Environmental and Process Engineering
The research groups that have been united in the IUVT since 2004 work on solving environmentally relevant issues in the areas of: Waste water, exhaust air, biotechnology, renewable energies, noise protection, ecotoxicology, recycling, environmental information systems
The IUVT is excellently networked thanks to its many years of activity and the diversity of its projects. Its project partners include institutes, authorities, local authorities and industry, as well as international scientific teams and NGOs.
Close long-term cooperation exists with the company REINLUFT Umwelttechnik Ingenieurgesellschaft GmbH and the Hessian State Agency for Nature Conservation, Environment and Geology (HLNUG) in Wiesbaden. IUVT also has project-specific collaborations with companies such as Clariant International Ltd and Infraserv GmbH & Co. Höchst KG.
