What is it about?

Starting Wintersemester 2026/2027

In the Mechanical Engineering specialization of our Applied Engineering Sciences degree program, you’ll be involved in the planning, development, design, and manufacturing of machines, plants, and technical systems. You’ll learn foundational skills in mathematics, physics, and natural sciences, allowing you to solve technical problems and optimize systems.

Over the course of your studies, you’ll be able to specialize further. Specialist areas include energy technology, renewable energies, drive engineering, automotive engineering, production engineering, product development, simulation, and/or aeronautical engineering.
