Founded in 1964 as a state engineering school and incorporated into the then newly established Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences in 1971, the Department of Engineering at Hochschule RheinMain now has over 2,400 students at the Rüsselsheim Campus.

The programs include more than 20 bachelor's degrees and around 10 master's degree programs. State-of-the-art technology is taught and researched in around 75 laboratories. The cooperative doctoral center offers the best requirements for a scientific career.
