Going Abroad

Today’s professionals work in increasingly international environments. You will collaborate with people whose backgrounds and experiences have been shaped by different countries and cultures, while many organizations operate across borders. The ability to engage sensitively with multilingualism, migration backgrounds, and cultural differences has become an essential professional skill.

Studying abroad during your studies is an opportunity to gain important professional and academic experience. New experiences – which may seem unfamiliar at first – can contribute to personal development. The Faculty of Engineering encourages its students to spend a semester at a university abroad or to gain professional experince working abroad. In doing so, we remain mindful of the challenges faced by students with children, caregiving responsibilities, academic appointments, or disabilities (among other factors). The Faculty of Engineering collaborates with relevant faculties at universities both within and outside Europe. Find a list of partner universities, organized by country and faculties.

Visit the International Office website to find more information about studying or working abroad.
