Das Bild zeigt eine moderne Gebäudestruktur mit einem begrünten Dach. Im Vordergrund befindet sich ein grüner Innenhof mit Bänken und Bäumen, in dem mehrere Menschen entspannt sitzen und sich unterhalten. Die Szene vermittelt ein Gefühl von Gemeinschaft und Erholung im Freien.
Engineering and art

There are various works of art to discover on the Rüsselsheim Campus. The Faculty of Engineering offers a beautiful setting for artists to present their art.

  • Skulptur vor der Mensa: Kreuzkugel von M. Will
    Cross ball in front of the Mensa (dining hall)

    The sculpture "Kreuzkugel" was built in 1996 by the German sculptor Matthias Will. It is made of stainless steel and is approx. 290 cm high. Matthias Will often assembles his sculptures from two parts, one of which - fixed by wire ropes - appears to float.

  • Das Bild zeigt ein Mosaik aus bunten Keramikscherben, das auf einer Betonsäule angebracht ist. Die Form des Mosaiks erinnert an eine Welle oder einen Fluss. Die Farben variieren zwischen Blau, Grün, Rot und Gelb, wodurch ein lebhaftes und kreatives Kunstwerk entsteht.

    The colorful mosaic "Du+ Ich + Wir" on the stele in the inner courtyard in front of Building A South was created by students as part of the summer festival on 18.06.2003. The project was initiated by the Protestant Student Community (ESG) in Rüsselsheim.

  • Ein Wandkunstwerk aus bunten Mosaikstücken zeigt eine wellenförmige Struktur. Die Farben variieren von Pastell bis kräftig und bilden ein einzigartiges Muster. Das Kunstwerk befindet sich an einer Gebäudeaußenwand in einem parkähnlichen Umfeld mit Rasen und Bäumen.
    Heaven + Earth

    The mosaic "Heaven + Earth" can be found on another pillar in the inner courtyard in front of Building A South. It was created by the Evangelische Studentinnen- und Studentengemeinde (ESG) Rüsselsheim as part of the FH summer festival on 20.06.2001.
