Internet use
Conditions for the use of the Internet
At all library locations:
- HDS ID required for Internet PCs and campus WLAN
- Use of eduroam (for members of participating universities)
- Internet PCs: Registered library users who are at least 18 years old log in with their library card number and password. Internet use is limited to half an hour per day, which can be divided into 15-minute blocks
- Guest WLAN: Provision of temporary WLAN for guests at HSRM events(set up by responsible persons within the faculties and divisions)
Please note at the Bertramstraße site:
- WLAN: Exclusively with eduroam
Please note at the Unter den Eichen site:
- No internet PCs
Please note at the Rheinstraße site:
- Unencrypted WLAN for all: "Guest HLB lending/reading room/study room", without password and age restriction. However: no access to licensed HLB services
