There are many ways to search for facts and scientific sources. The HLB RheinMain provides you with a wide range of options for searching for information.

Instructions

When upgrading our catalog, the "watch list" in the account will not be transferred for technical reasons. In future, there will be "Favorites", which are based on a different system component.

If you have previously used the watch list function and want to save the data, you should export the contents and thus save them.

You can export bookmark list titles directly in your library account in the "old" catalog, or you can go via PUMA(PUblikationsMAnagementder Uni Kassel - previous operator of the bookmark lists).

1. to the PUMA watch list

 

Attention: If you are already logged into your account in the catalog, you may be automatically redirected to your area in PUMA without registration.

In this case, continue with 3.)

2. registration with the watch list

Registration is done in the same screen as usual when registering for a library account.

  • Enter your library card/ StudentCard number and your password.

3. call up your own watch list

  • Go to "myPUMA" in the menu .
  • Select the first item "My entries".

4. call up export formats

Your watchlist entries are listed in the "Publications" column.

  • Select the icon on the far right for the export options.
  • Go to the "More..." menu item.

Note: If you do not use the "more..." option and select a format beforehand, only the titles of the displayed page (up to 20) will be exported, not the complete list!

5. select format and export

You now have numerous export formats to choose from, including citation formats such as DIN 1505, Harvard, Chicago or import formats such as BibTex, BibSonomy, Endnote, RIS, csv ...

Either select a format from the drop-down menu or click on one of the layouts listed below.

Depending on the option selected, a web page with the correspondingly prepared content is displayed (for copying or saving) or a file in the selected format is downloaded.
