III. Purpose and legal basis of data processing
In accordance with Article 5(1)(a) and (b) of the GDPR, personal data must be collected in a lawful manner for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes.
According to Article 4(1) of the GDPR, personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
1. Purpose
Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of reviewing your purchase proposal, notifying you of a rejection or, in the event of a successful purchase, notifying you that the medium is available for you to borrow.
2. Legal basis
The processing of your personal data is based on your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
IV. Storage period
Your personal data will be stored in the automatic ticket system of the University and State Library for the duration of the processing of your purchase proposal or for a maximum of 2 years.
V. Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
1. Right to information
You can request information about your personal data processed by us.
2. Right to rectification
If the information concerning you is inaccurate, you may request that it be corrected.
3. Right to erasure
You may request the erasure of your personal data if it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
4. Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request a restriction on the processing of data concerning you.
5. Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of data concerning you at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation.
6. Right to withdraw consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time. Such withdrawal will affect the permissibility of processing your personal data after you have notified us of your withdrawal. The permissibility of processing your data up to the time of your withdrawal remains unaffected.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
