Then we would like to invite you to one of our Citavi training courses, where we will be happy to show you how to work effectively with the program or visit us in one of our Citavi office hours (online and on site). For independent study, a video on reference management with Citavi and a self-study course for the program version "Citavi Windows 6.x" are available via the learning platform ILIAS.

When using Citavi, personal data is collected and processed. Please refer to the program usage information.

How can you use Citavi free of charge?

• Download the program free of charge from the Citavi website.

• Register for a Citavi account (members of Hochschule RheinMain can only use Citavi free of charge if they have registered for a campus license).

• Notes for Mac users: the program version "Citavi for Windows", which is shown in the training courses, can only be installed on the Mac via detours! The program version "Citavi Web" runs via the browser and can be used by Mac users without additional installations. Alternatively, we recommend using the program Zotero.
