Professional media over IP applications have challenging requirements, in particular related to data throughput, reliability and resilience.

The goal of the project is to provide Open Source software for benchmarking cloud providers related to the implementation of professional media applications.

The extensible set of use cases currently includes:

  1. ST 2110 JPEG XS ingest into a cloud platform (under work)
  2. JPEG XS decoding and AI processing (planned)
  3. DMF real-time processing using MXL (idea)
  4. More to come (we are open to discuss your ideas!)
