This year’s 2026 DAAD Prize for Outstanding Achievements by International Students was awarded to Anes Khaldi, a graduate of the bachelor’s program in Electrical and Aeronautical Engineering (ELT) at Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The award recognizes both his excellent academic achievements and his wide-ranging involvement in activities beyond his studies.
Anes Khaldi completed his bachelor’s degree in the ELT degree program in a remarkably short time of six semesters (the standard period of study is eight semesters), consistently demonstrating exemplary academic performance. At the same time, he was actively involved in the university community on several levels: as a teaching assistant in the International Office, as a student member of the ELT degree program’s Examination Board, and as a participant in the “Wohnen für Hilfe” project in Rüsselsheim.
ELT Degree Program Proud of Its Graduate
His achievements were publicly recognized and highlighted as exemplary at the Faculty of Engineering’s graduation ceremony in early May and again at Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts’ annual political reception on June 9, 2026.
Prof. Martin Müller, head of the Electrical and Aeronautical Engineering degree program, extends his heartfelt congratulations: “Anes Khaldi is an extraordinary example of what is possible when talent meets dedication and commitment. Not only did he complete his studies in record time, but he also consistently championed his fellow students and the university throughout his time here. As a degree program, we are very proud of a graduate like him.”
Following his successful graduation, Anes Khaldi now works as a Supply Chain Manager at Röder Präzision GmbH at Egelsbach Airfield. While working, he is pursuing his master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Management. The ELT degree program wishes him continued success and looks forward with interest to his future career.
