Self-checkout terminals

At the locations

• Bertramstrasse,
• Kurt-Schumacher-Ring,
• Unter den Eichen and
• Rüsselsheim

there are self-checkout terminals. You can borrow media yourself at these terminals. During limited service (usually evenings or weekend), these are the only option for borrowing media.

You can also view your library account and renew outstanding loans at all self-checkout terminals.

Returning media

At the locations

• Rüsselsheim and
• Unter den Eichen

you can also return media. Returns are made immediately.

At all other locations of the University and State Library, items are returned using return shelves.
