We are therefore delighted to welcome a newly minted Ph.D.!
Simon Paulus’s dissertation is distinguished by numerous scientific publications and outstanding research results. With his work on hyperdoped silicon and the infrared sensors developed from it, Simon Paulus has made an important scientific contribution and significantly advanced research at the Institute for Microtechnologies (IMtech) in this field. His research findings were generated as part of a DFG project at Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts. His work also served as an essential foundation for the successful acquisition of the subsequent BMFTR project “MINIMISE” at IMtech.
The examination committee extends its warmest congratulations to Simon Paulus on this outstanding achievement. “As his advisor, I am particularly proud that Simon is the first doctoral candidate I have supervised at Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts to successfully complete his doctorate. I thank him for our dedicated, trusting, and scientifically highly productive collaboration,” says Professor Dr. Stefan Kontermann in recognition of Simon’s achievements.
We wish him all the best and continued success in his future professional and personal endeavors!
