The focus of the evening was the keynote speech by Dr. Maria Wiesmann who shed light on key future issues for companies and organizations. In particular, she addressed the challenges and opportunities arising from digital transformation processes, attractiveness as an employer and sustainable business practices. Following the presentation, the guests took the opportunity for an open discussion, personal exchange and networking.
Common goal: economic development of the region
Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts has been a member of Gewerbeverein Rüsselsheim 1888 e. V. for two years. The joint event once again highlighted the importance of close dialog between the university and the regional economy. As a driving force, partner and educational player, the university also sees its role as actively shaping the exchange on current developments and future topics.
The city of Rüsselsheim was also represented at the event: Lord Mayor Mr. Burghardt, who is also Head of Economic Development, and Mayor Mr. Karakaya, himself a graduate of Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts, attended the entrepreneurs' evening. Their presence underlined the importance of cooperation between the municipality, university and companies for the economic development of the region.
The evening showed how valuable personal encounters and professional exchange are for shaping the future. Especially in times of profound change, spaces are needed in which new ideas can emerge, contacts can be made and joint perspectives can be developed.
