Repair broken electrical appliances or bicycles, mend or adjust textiles – the Technology and Textile Repair Café is a service for all citizens and students offered by Hochschule RheinMain, Caritasverband Offenbach/Main e. V. and the Evangelische Martinsgemeinde Rüsselsheim.

Members of staff from the Faculty of Engineering, volunteers and students are available on Tuesdays every 4 weeks from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the foyer of Building A on the Rüsselsheim Campus with tools, machines and their expertise to repair or diagnose faults in technical equipment. The offer is supported by Caritas, which provides coffee and cake and is available for discussions.

The Textile Repair Café takes place on the second Friday of the month from 15:00 to 17:00 in the rooms of the Neighborhood and Family Center Böllensee (NAFAZ) of the Martinsgemeinde.
