Wireless Charging, Chip-less RFID, and Energy Harvesting for Low Power Internet of Things Applications

Between September 23 and 26, 2025, the IoT and Digital Communication Engineering Department in Hochschule RheinMain and the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a workshop titled "Wireless Charging, Chip-less RFID, and Energy Harvesting for Low Power Internet of Things Applications."
Throughout the four-day workshop, participants exchanged innovative ideas, explored the latest research developments, and presented recent progress in the field.

The following topics were discussed

  • Wireless charging for low power wireless protocols (GJU)

  • Rotman Lens Road map from Basics to the latest IoT and RFID applications. M.Sc. Abdulkader Ghwaji (HSRM).

  • RF-Based Wireless Charging System for Low-Power IoT Devices with BLE Connectivity. Eng. Hadeel Gazbak (GJU).
