The focus of this study is the Dreifaltigkeitskirche in Alsfeld, now Protestant, one of the few churches of the Augustinian Hermits in the Saxon-Thuringian province of the order that has remained almost unchanged and whose monastery complex can be easily reconstructed from the existing architectural remains.
Building description, source research and building investigation of the complex are to be supported by a building survey with students of the HSRM; the results will be incorporated into the teaching of the university
