The Abitur (German secondary school leaving certificate) or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences is your ticket to Hochschule RheinMain. If you have another secondary school leaving certificate and/or have completed vocational training, it may also be possible to study. If you are unsure, please contact our information point.
In Wiesbaden, the Faculties of Architecture and Civil Engineering as well as Social Sciences are located at the Kurt-Schumacher-Ring Campus. The Faculty of Design Computer Science Media Media is located on Unter den Eichen Campus and the Wiesbaden Business School is located in the city center on Bleichstraße/Bertramstraße.
The Engineering Sciences campus is located in Rüsselheim on Brückweg.
The application is made via our online application portal. If you want to study a degree program with restricted admission, you must first register at hochschulstart.de. Read all the information about the application beforehand.
Unlike private higher education institutions, there are no tuition fees at Hochschule RheinMain. However, all students pay semester fees each semester.
In addition, there are the usual living costs and, depending on the degree program, study-related costs (e.g. for materials and excursions).
Working, taking out a student loan or supporting your family are all ways of financing your studies. Under certain requirements, you can receive financial support through the German Federal Training Assistance Act (BAföG). If you have good to very good grades and are active in an honorary position, you may also be eligible for a scholarship. Find out more about your funding options here.
Students at Hochschule RheinMain can generally use any of the halls of residence run by Studierendenwerk Frankfurt in the Rhine-Main region. There are also some halls of residence run by private companies. If you would like to live in a student hall of residence, you must register directly with the respective operator for a place.
