Based on the research strategy, Hochschule RheinMain - University of Applied Sciences and Arts pursues a clear profile with regard to its research topics and structures, which promotes extensive, high-quality achievements in practical and application-oriented research across departments and disciplines.

The research centers play a strategic, operational and structuring role in this regard. Depending on their characteristics, the research centers develop local, regional and national initiatives, provide a content-related platform for sound scientific and artistic training up to doctorate level and offer a broad cooperation basis for partners of Hochschule RheinMain.
