Student initiatives
Scuderia Mensa (dining hall) is the Formula Student Racing Team of Hochschule RheinMain. Founded in 2006, this student team develops and constructs a racing car every year, with which it takes part in international Formula Student competitions.
In May 2024, three students from the Faculty of Engineering founded "RheinVolt Motorsport". The interdisciplinary team has dedicated itself to developing an electric racing motorcycle. They are currently building their first prototype.
AStA stands for Allgemeiner Studierendenausschuss (student union). It represents the interests of students in various committees at the higher education institution, advises them on all aspects of life, takes care of sustainable mobility and organizes parties and cultural events.
Faculty Student Councils
All students in a faculty form the Faculty Student Council and elect their student representatives once a year.
The Faculty Student Council is the point of contact for all students with problems and uncertainties that arise during their studies, but is also a party organizer, orientation aid and the link between students and professors.
