SIX GREAT REASONS TO START STUDYING WITH US

INNOVATION

The faculty inspires through continous development of study contents and teaching methods to meet the current challenges and professional activities in social work.
We focus on innovative approaches such as our methods laboratory, teaching-learning labs and state-of-the-art VR technology.

PRACTICAL ORIENTATION

The methods lab as well as our broad and intense networking with practical institutions closeby enable a close link between theory and practice in teaching. This enables not only a practical training but also valuable experiences and professional orientation for our students.

POWERFUL RESEARCH

As one of the strongest research departments in the social sector, our focus on “Professionalism in Social Work” was included in the research map of the German Rectors' Conference (HRK).

OPTIMAL START

The peer-mentoring-program offers support from one student to another. They guide you through the first semester and give you a great overview of what is important in the respective degree program.

THE STATE CAPITAL

Studying in Wiesbaden offers more than a first-class academic education adding to the charming atmosphere of the state capital. The Combination of historical architecture, cultural diversity and high life quality creates an inspiring environment for students.

360° ACADEMIC CAREER

At the beginning of 2017, the doctoral center, which was founded in cooperation with the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and Fulda University of Applied Sciences, was granted the right to award doctorates in the field of social work. The center is based at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, which gives students the opportunity to shape their academic career at the Department of Social Work from a Bachelor's degree through to a doctorate.
