Psychological Counseling

Or would you like to talk about how to continue your studies and what options you have for structuring your degree program? The Student Counseling Office can support you with this and conversations with it are confidential.
International Office
The International Office offers advice and support on various topics for international students With its welcome tutors, the International Office organizes a buddy program, events, the Weltcafé (“world café”), and other opportunities to meet and chat with other students.
Preparatory options
Ukrainian refugees who are students or are interested in studying at university can make use of preparatory options from the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. These are funded by the Integra program from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Language courses
We offer free language courses at various levels of difficulty. Currently, we can offer spaces in an A1-level course (scheduled to begin in May 2022) and in a B2/C1.1 course. We also have places available in a German Language Proficiency Test for Entrance to German Universities (DSH) preparatory course.
Auditor program
The auditor (guest) program allows you take part in classes at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and receive a realistic insight into a subject and to everyday life at a German university. Participation in classes up to a maximum of 12 contact hours (Semsterwochenstunden) is permitted. Examinations cannot be taken.

Enrollment as a ‘free mover’ exchange student at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences
If you have already started a degree in Ukraine, you have the option of completing an exchange semester in a degree program at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences – in a similar way to an ERASMUS exchange semester, for example. This option will allow you to take part in examinations and obtain up to 30 ECTS credit points. There are various options available for this at the faculties of the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences.
Advice on studying at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences
If you wish to enroll in a standard degree program at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, you must meet all admission requirements for the degree. This means that you need to have a higher education entrance qualification and sufficient language skills.
