Since 2018, the Fachgruppe Mobilität has regularly organized the German-speaking lecture and discussion series MOBILITY IN TRANSITION, in which experts from science and practical experience provide new solutions to current mobility problems and issues. Students and experts as well as interested members of the public are invited to join the discussion.

Parking lot land in ... whose hands? Parking space provision between private duty and public responsibility
How much car does housing need, where does the car need a parking space and who has to pay for it? On the occasion of the current nationwide discussion about easing the construction of new housing and the abolition of parking space construction obligations, "Mobility in Transition" focuses on a central area of tension: the distribution of burdens between mandatory parking space requirements for developers and the provision of public parking space by local authorities. And both in the light of the guiding principle of "traffic finances traffic".
