Faculty Onboarding Starting October 12, 2026

Before lectures begin, all first-semester students in the bachelor’s programs in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Heritage Conservation, Real Estate Management, and Mobility Management can look forward to a varied onboarding week the week before lectures start.

During this program, you’ll get to know the university, key contacts, and your future fellow students. This will help you start your studies on a relaxed note, make your first connections, and find your way around campus right from the start.

Welcome events for first-year students in the degree programs starting October 19, 2026, including the program organized by the A&B Faculty Student Committee

The orientation program for each degree program will take place during the week of October 19, 2026 (exception: Environmental Management and Urban Planning in Metropolitan Areas; for this program, orientation will take place one week earlier).

To make the transition from school to studies easier, we offer a preparatory course in which mathematical school knowledge is refreshed. This is because mathematics lectures at higher education institutions build on elementary arithmetic skills that are often not (or no longer) available after secondary school leaving certificates.

Participation in the course is strongly recommended. It usually takes place two weeks before the start of lectures, registration is not required.
