Preparatory course in mathematics
To make the transition from school to studies easier, we offer a preparatory course in which mathematical school knowledge is refreshed. This is because mathematics lectures at higher education institutions build on elementary arithmetic skills that are often not (or no longer) available after secondary school leaving certificates.
Participation in the course is strongly recommended. It usually takes place two weeks before the start of lectures, registration is not required.
Please note: The course is taught in German.
Course in the winter semester 2025/26
The preparatory course will take place in lecture hall D205, Building D, Kurt-Schumacher-Ring Campus. You can find directions here.
