Student Advising Service
Student Advising helps you find the right degree program for you. The advising process is guided by your personal interests and questions. Together, we want to look at decision aids and approaches that will help you make an informed, independent and sustainable decision on what to study.
We provide open-ended advising, in individual or group sessions, online or in person, on
- the degree programs offered at Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSRM),
- your study choice,
- questions and issues related to deciding on whether or not to study,
- admission requirements and
- application and enrollment procedures.
As a prospective student with foreign academic transcripts you should first contact the team international at the admissions office. Once it has been clarified whether you meet the requirements for admission to higher education, an appointment can then be scheduled with Student Advising.
Studying with a Disability or Chronic Illness
If you are interested in studying at HSRM and have a chronic illness or disability, please contact us early on to discuss what kind of support you need while studying and how HSRM can help you.
Information platform on studying with a disability or chronic illness
We support you with questions about your studies or difficulties during your studies.
Possible reasons/topics for counseling may include, for example:
- questions about changing universities or degree programs,
- doubts about your studies,
- learning and work-related difficulties,
- exam anxiety,
- organizational problems, or
- multiple burdens during your studies (e.g., social and family difficulties).
Questions about the recognition of achievements cannot be clarified in the student advisory service. Please contact the recognition officer of your degree program.
