At a partner university
- You are enrolled in the HSRM.
- The desired university has signed an agreement with HSRM for your degree program.
- You speak the language of instruction at least at B1 level.
- You have completed your application by submitting all required documents to Mobility Online by the deadline.
Please note that the final decision on the allocation of places will be made by the respective degree program after evaluation of your application documents.
The application is made via Mobility Online. Please register and create an account. You can access this account throughout the application process and during your semester abroad. Here you can see the status of your application and what you still need to submit.

By registering on Mobility Online, you will receive an overview of the application documents:
A complete application includes:
- Proof of language proficiency
- Application form digitally signed by you and your International Coordinator (download in Mobility Online)
- Answering the three motivational questions (template in Mobility Online)
- Current certificate of enrollment (download via COMPASS)
- Current transcript of completed modules and graded course components (download via COMPASS)
- Copy of passport (outside the EU) or identity card
You can find an overview of possible language certificates at the Language Center. A-level certificates are not sufficient. You can have yourself assessed free of charge by the Language Center and receive a language certificate for your application. Please note that the language certificates must be submitted by the last day of the application deadline.
English
- B2 can be proven either by the OPT of our Language Center or a recognized certificate (e.g. TOEFL, Cambridge, telc, etc.) that is no more than two years old.
- B1 is provided proof by your transcript of completed modules and graded course components if you have participated in an English course and passed with a certain grade. You can find an overview list of the relevant courses at the Language Center.
Other languages
You can submit an official certificate that is no more than two years old (e.g. telc, Cervantes, DELF, KMK foreign language certificate) or make an appointment for a placement test at sprachenzentrum@hs-rm.de
Learning languages
Do you not yet have a sufficient language level for your desired university? Take advantage of the language courses offerd by the Language Center. The EU Academy offers an online learning program.
Application deadlines:
01 December-31 January for the next winter semester and the following summer semester
01 June-31 July for the next summer semester
The application portal is only open during this period. Once you have successfully registered, you can log in to Mobility Online with your access data.
