Journals, articles
You will find numerous academic journals and daily newspapers in our libraries. Some of our journals can be borrowed, others are intended exclusively for use in the library rooms or are only available online.
CatalogPlus tells you which titles can be found at our locations. Enter the title of the journal and limit the media type in the advanced search to "Journal / Newspaper / Series".
If you want to know which journals are available in which library in Germany, use the journal database (ZDB).
An overview of electronically available journals can be found in the Electronic Journals Library (EZB).
Finding articles
To search for essays and articles in academic journals, use the "Articles & more" section in Catalog Plus.
Other subject databases are also available via the database information system (DBIS).
Articles from journals that are neither available in print nor electronically in the HLB can be ordered via inter-library loan.
