Anna Lena Müller, graduate of the Bachelor's degree in Mobility Management, was awarded first place in the VCD Award for her thesis. She convinced the jury, consisting of representatives from teaching, research and associations, with her thesis on "Mobility concepts for new residential areas - potentials of planned new residential areas for Sustainable Mobility using the example of the FrankfurtRhineMain Regional Association". In her thesis, she investigated how Sustainable Mobility can be promoted in new residential areas of the FrankfurtRhineMain Regional Association. Her recommendations for action are based on practical examples from Hesse.
The VCD Award is presented annually by Verkehrsclub Deutschland e.V. (VCD) to students with outstanding scientific work that deals with the topics of sustainable mobility and the transport transition. The award is presented in connection with the project "DIY: Verkehrswende selber machen" (DIY: Making the transport transition yourself), and was awarded for the third time in Berlin.
