What is it?

Business Administration is a degree program with a generalist approach that will prepare you for a wide range of tasks in business and administration.

The degree program is designed for personalities with ideas, passion and vision who want to make a career as executives nationally and internationally, start their own company or take over an existing one. Graduates will be able to think and act entrepreneurially, a skill that is in demand not only in start-ups but also in large companies and corporations. The program also prepares graduates to assume social responsibility as entrepreneurs.

Students will have the opportunity to learn with case studies and the innovative didactic concept of problem-based learning. You will develop and implement your own projects and business ideas in small teams and gain initial experience while still studying.

The program is designed for 6 semesters.

In the first 3 semesters, you will learn the fundamentals of the business sub-disciplines of management, marketing, controlling, financing, mathematics, information technology, logistics, law and economics.

In the 4th and 5th semesters, you can choose specializations or complete a semester abroad. You can choose from the following specializations: Business Psychology, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Controlling + Finance, Sales + Marketing, Business Law, Business Information Systems, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Economics.

The 6th semester is dedicated to the bachelor’s thesis and your professional internship.

What can I do with it?

As a graduate of the degree program you are a qualified business economist. As such, you plan, organize and monitor the business activities of companies in the private sector and in business-related administrations. You support company management in various fields of business management (e.g. in controlling, logistics, human resources, marketing) in Germany and abroad.

After an appropriate induction period, you will be able to take on specialist and management tasks in business and administration yourself or can work in an entrepreneurial or freelance capacity.
