To participate in one of the double master's programs, students enrolled in the International Management master's degree program at Wiesbaden Business School must apply for a semester abroad in good time before the start of the semester abroad with a letter of application and a copy of their bachelor's degree. For details on deadlines etc. please contact the WBS International Office.

According to the contracts, each of the partner universities accepts up to three Wiesbaden Business School students per year. Applications for participation in these double master's programs are forwarded by the partner university to the host university. Individual applications from students will not be accepted under this agreement. All applications must meet the requirements of both partners. The sending higher education institution provides the host institution with all supporting documents for its students.

Successful students will then study a number of designated courses during the summer semester at the partner university, which will be recognized as equivalents for the courses offered during the semester abroad in Wiesbaden. In addition, they must submit a three-month thesis in English, which will be submitted to both partners in October and evaluated by professors from both partners according to their grading schemes. If students manage to complete the courses agreed upon in the respective partner agreements and receive a positive evaluation of their thesis by the professors of both institutions, they fulfill the requirements for obtaining the double degree.

Students participating in one of these programs pay their tuition fees at the sending university. Therefore, under the agreements, they are exempt from paying tuition fees at the host university. They only have to pay the administrative fees of the host university. All other costs, e.g. for travel, accommodation and meals or academic books in the host country, must be borne by the students themselves.

For further details on the double master programs, please follow the links in the table above in the Program column and contact the WBS International Office.

The application process

Once a year (usually in November) there is a general information event about the semester abroad. This is announced in advance via the student e-mails. Here, all students receive information about a voluntary and a compulsory semester abroad.

Your preferred partner universities are selected via the application form in the SOP Mobility Online Portal. All students use this form to apply for the coming academic year in December and January.
