International Management
What is it?
The International Management degree program provides students with generalist fundamental knowledge of the essential operational areas of internationally oriented companies and organizations. They will acquire foreign language skills at a high level of proficiency and further develop them during an internship semester abroad.
Core elements of the degree program are:
- general business administration training
- relatively extensive training in international economics
- internationality
- semester abroad
- internship abroad
- two foreign languages (English & a language of choice)
What can I do with it?
Graduates of the degree program are qualified business economists with a comprehensive understanding of international economic relations. The degree program qualifies you for management positions in internationally oriented companies or for work as an independent contractor in an increasingly interdependent global economy. This includes positions in internationally oriented companies in Germany as well as assignments in foreign subsidiaries, positions in independent companies abroad or in the international investment business.
Following on from the eight-semester bachelor’s degree program, you can obtain a master's degree in the consecutive master's program in just two semesters.
