Insurance & Banking
What is it?
The master’s degree program in Insurance and Banking is a unique offering within the Rhine-Main region. You will receive a high-quality education in the in-demand future-oriented topics in the capital, bank, and insurance markets!
In addition, there is close collaboration with the Master of Science program in Controlling and Finance to yield a wide variety of possible electives.
The interdisciplinary and innovative master’s degree program offers the opportunity for students to create individual specializations: in addition to the in-depth study of the insurance industry and banking business, students can combine compulsory electives in a targeted way to address personal interests and professional prospects in the fields of controlling, finances, and FinTech.
In addition to a specialization in the capital, banking, and insurance markets, 50% of all modules are freely selectable, which means you can design your master’s degree studies yourself and can freely choose your additional concentrations. This will help you gain an insight into cryptocurrencies, blockchains, digital finance, and InsurTechs. Once you have earned 60 credit points, you can already begin your master’s thesis.
What can I do with it?
The skills profile you shape during your studies equips you to take on targeted roles and leadership positions in national and international consultancies, banking, insurance, and business auditing companies. The program places particular emphasis on strategic management as well as qualitative and quantitative risk management.
For degree-seeking students: detailed information on admission requirements, application deadlines, etc. can be found on the German page.
