You must submit an application in KommA - the recognition database - so that the Examination Board or recognition officer can decide on the recognition/credit of your achievements.

• Open a recognition procedure in the KommA recognition tool and create your recognition cases. The guide for students introduces you to KommA and provides important information on how to submit an applicant correctly. Or simply watch the explanatory video. Once the application has been finalized, recognition officers are automatically informed by email.
• Recognition officers evaluate the acquired competencies based on criteria. This means that higher education institution achievements can be recognized as long as they do not differ significantly in terms of quality, level, learning outcomes or profile. Credits earned outside the higher education institution can be recognized if they are equivalent to those offered at the university. • Please check the progress of your application in KommA at regular intervals. If you need to submit additional supporting documents, you will find a corresponding comment there.
• Recognition officers will decide on the acceptance or rejection of your application and document the decision accordingly in KommA. The result is documented in the student file. If the decision is positive, the achievement is transferred directly to HSRM COMPASS. You will receive written notification of any rejections.
