Application and enrollment

Civil Engineering:

Confirmation of the completed internship with details of the internship content and weekly working hours; for ongoing internships: corresponding advance confirmation from the internship position with start and planned completion; confirmation of 4 weeks of completed internship with details of the internship content and special justification as to why the remaining 4 weeks cannot be completed by the first day of classes;

KIS Media Technology:

Internship contract or comparable contract for employment in the technical field with a cooperating partner company for at least the standard period of study;

Financial Services (cooperative):

Concentration integrated with training:

1. training contract concluded with a cooperating company and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce
as an insurance and financial services broker - subject area insurance.

2. an agreement concluded with the cooperation company which regulates employment in the cooperation company after successful completion of the training until successful completion of the studies. Concentration

Practice-integrated concentration:

1. contract concluded with a cooperation company for cooperative studies in Financial Services, which regulates employment in the
cooperation company for the duration of the degree program;

2. proof of completed commercial training;

KIS Electrical Engineering:

Training contract with a cooperation company of Hochschule RheinMain. Alternatively, proof of employment with a cooperation company for at least the duration of the
standard period of study;

KIS Mechatronics:

Training contract with Hochschule RheinMain or employment contract with a cooperating company during the course of studies;

BIS Electrical Engineering:

1st technician's or master craftsman's certificate in electrical engineering/technology-related subject area, alternatively proof of 2 years of electrical engineering or technology-related professional activity following relevant training or successful completion of studies in engineering. In exceptional cases, justification/proof that the proof is provided in the first semester (or in the case of master technician training and the engineering degree at the commencement of studies).

2. current proof (not older than 6 months) of at least 50% work experience in an Electrical Engineering or technology-related company during the course of study;

BIS Mechanical Engineering:

1st technician/master's certificate in a mechanical engineering/technology-related subject area, alternatively proof of 2 years of mechanical engineering or technology-related
professional activity following corresponding training or successful completion of studies in Engineering. In exceptional cases
Justification/proof that the proof is provided in the first semester (or in the case of technician/master craftsman training and the Engineering degree at the commencement of studies).

2. current proof (not older than 6 months) of at least 50% work experience in a mechanical engineering/technology-related company during the course of study;

International Industrial Engineering and Management:

1. English level B1. Proof by at least 6 years of school English with at least a 4.0 in the last school report or by standardized language test (recognized language tests www.hs-rm.de/sprachen => language level/language certificates).

2. French or Spanish level A2. After at least three years of school French or Spanish with at least a 4.0 in the last school report or by standardized language test (recognized language tests www.hs-rm.de/sprachen => language level/language certificates);

Communication Design and Media: Conception & Production:

Proof of successful participation in the examination to determine artistic aptitude;

Industrial Engineering and Management:

English level A2. Proof by at least 3 years of school English with at least a 4.0 in the last school report or by standardized language test (recognized language tests see www.hs-rm.de/sprachen => Language level/language certificates)

Social Work - Social Work and Education:

Current proof (not older than 6 months) of at least 15 hours of work experience during the course of study in a field of Social Work that can be verifiably assigned to the content-related specializations of the Master's program. Proof must be provided in the form of a job description (issued by the employer) and must include the weekly working hours. Alternatively: Proof of recognition of a specially justified exceptional case;
