English Level Requirements for Master's degree Applicants
Important Information for Applicants
This information applies only to those applying for the Master's International Management program at Wiesbaden Business School or the Screen Arts program at the Department of Design-Computer Science-Media.both programs require proof of advanced English proficiency to manage lectures, coursework, and presentations in English. Please note: The Language Center is solely responsible for administering the Oxford test. We are not involved in the selection process and cannot provide advice or information on applications or admission decisions.
Master's degree programs
Master's degree in Screen Arts
This degree program requires applicants to document their B2 level in English if they are applying for the English version of the program by submitting a test score from any of the standardized tests accepted by the HSRM. Students studying in German should be at B2 level in English but do not need to document it.

Screen Arts English version applicants who have not been able to take an internationally recognized English test can take a computer-based English test in the university's Language Center (at the Kurt-Schumacher-Ring Campus) and obtain the required point score for this degree program (further information and registration here: Computer-based English test). Please note: This test is a service offered only to those applying to the English version of the Screen Arts Master's degree program - there is a €10 fee per test taken. We do not test people applying to other universities!
Master's degree in International Management (Wiesbaden Business School)
The current English requirements for this Wiesbaden Business School's Master's degree program, as well as the accepted certificates are listed here and on the programs' respective pages. If you have none of the listed standardized exams as documentation, please contact Mr. Hubertus Weyer, Head of the "Business in English" program at the Wiesbaden Business School, for a testing appointment. (The Language Center does not test WBS applicants.)
