What is it?
The main focus of the Health Care Economics degree program is the combination of knowledge content from the fields of business administration, social policy, social law and medicine.
As managers, health care economists will need to be familiar with the interdependencies within the health care market and its social and legal foundations in order to meet future challenges. As a student you will acquire the ability to manage organizational units in the health care market using expertise from the areas of controlling and accounting. In order to be a competent point of contact for doctors, basic medical knowledge is also required. This is included in our degree program.
The degree program is expected to be reaccredited by the start of the 2020 summer semester. This may lead to changes in the content of the degree program.
