One study program - Two degrees

As part of the "Global Design & Media CoSpace" project, the Master's program in Screen Arts M.A. at HSRM has developed double degree programs with three partner universities.

A German-Norwegian and two German-Thai degree are offered with the following partner universities:
Master of Management (ICO NIDA, Bangkok, Thailand)
Master of Management (Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand)
Master in Media Practice (Volda University College, Volda, Norwegen)

These double degree programs offer qualified students the opportunity to obtain two degrees in parallel: the Master of Arts degree at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and the corresponding degree at the partner university. Full recognition of all study and examination credits earned abroad is guaranteed from the outset.

Participants must earn a total of 60 credit points (ECTS) during two semesters abroad at the partner university. The total period of study is thus extended by only one semester.

Timing

The course of study of the double degree program varies depending on the partner university, but basically provides for a start with one semester at the HSRM. This is followed by two more semesters abroad before students return to HSRM for the final semester.

Upon completion of the master's degree at HSRM, the degree of the host university is also awarded.

At ICO NIDA and Walailak Univeristy, HSRM students can start the dual degree program in both the winter and summer semesters.

At Volda University College, students can only start in the summer semester (i.e. 1st summer semester at HSRM, 2nd and 3rd semesters at VUC, 4th semester at HSRM).
