  • May: Travel report about the current situation in Ukraine

Prof. Dr. Gerhard Trabert gave an account of his journey to Ukraine. In early May 2022, he traveled to Ukraine for several days to deliver urgent medicine and medical devices to local help organizations and spoke to people on site. During the information event open to all students and staff of RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, he described the current situation in Ukraine. The event was an opportunity for debate and exchange.

  • March: Erasmus+ Staff Mobility in Edinburgh, UK

EdinburghChristine Englert spent five days in UK to participate in a language course for teaching staff. She kickstarted her language skills for teachnig and met colleagues from other universities to speak about teaching and foreign language skills.   • International presentations by faculty members

In 2021, several members of the faculty presented their research results on international conferences. Researchers of the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences were present at the 4th European Conference on Domestic Violence, the Sexuality and Social Work Global Online Conference 2021, the European Association for Social Work School’s conference, as well as workshops in Fribourg, Vienna and Aarhus.
