2023

  • 19-23.06.2023 - Participation of the Team International in the "International Days" at HSRM 2023

Representatives from partner universities in nine countries visited the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences from 19 to 23 June 2023. The exchange, which was all about internationalization and sustainability, offered a varied program. After the guests were warmly welcomed by Vice-President Prof. Dr. Christiane Jost, the participants had the chance to change exchange and network with each other during panel discussions, workshops, to which members of the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences also contributed, as well as cultural activities and a film night. 2022

  • May: Travel report about the current situation in Ukraine

Prof. Dr. Gerhard Trabert gave an account of his journey to Ukraine. In early May 2022, he traveled to Ukraine for several days to deliver urgent medicine and medical devices to local help organizations and spoke to people on site. During the information event open to all students and staff of RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, he described the current situation in Ukraine. The event was an opportunity for debate and exchange.

  • March: Erasmus+ Staff Mobility in Edinburgh, UK

EdinburghChristine Englert spent five days in UK to participate in a language course for teaching staff. She kickstarted her language skills for teachnig and met colleagues from other universities to speak about teaching and foreign language skills. 2021

  • International presentations by faculty members

In 2021, several members of the faculty presented their research results on international conferences. Researchers of the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences were present at the 4th European Conference on Domestic Violence, the Sexuality and Social Work Global Online Conference 2021, the European Association for Social Work School’s conference, as well as workshops in Fribourg, Vienna and Aarhus.
