Dennis Quandt

Dennis Quandt is employed as a research assistant in the BMBF-funded research project ‘KIGVI: Automatic AI-supported composition of video news. The aim of the project is to develop an innovative solution for the AI-based composition of video news clips that extracts suitable sections from camera footage and composes them into a broadcast-ready report. Dennis Quandt previously completed a Bachelor of Engineering as part of a dual study programme at Deutsche Bahn and RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. He has international research and professional experience thanks to his Master of Science in Robotics and Computation at University College London and his work as a development engineer at Vitronic GmbH.
