DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

People with vocational qualifications examination

I have been informed that the following personal data will be stored and processed with the application for admission to the examination:

  • Surname, given name
  • Company, if applicable
  • private address
  • work or private e-mail address
  • work or private telephone number
  • Date and place of birth (for the academic transcript)
  • vocational training
  • academic appointment
  • If applicable, continuing education (400h for unrelated degree program)

The storage of the above-mentioned data and its processing for the purposes listed below is a requirement for admission to and completion of the university entrance examination. The data will be used exclusively for the preparation and follow-up of the respective examination and for issuing the academic transcripts. This means that they are stored for the purpose of organizing participation lists, confirmations of participation, examination invitations, certificates of participation and academic transcripts, examination documentation and statistics. The data will only be passed on to the professors conducting the program and, in the case of applications from a cooperating private university, to the responsible office. The data will not be passed on to the participants. The data is stored for the purpose of statistical evaluations, for the documentation of examination measures in anonymized form and for the subsequent issue of lost certificates of participation and academic transcripts. Personal data is deleted after 10 years. It is no longer possible to issue certificates of attendance or academic transcripts retrospectively after this period.

With my application for the university entrance examination of Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts, I agree to the storage and processing of my personal data to the extent described above.

Duplicates

I am informed that the following personal data will be stored and processed with the application for a duplicate transcript:

  • Surname, given name
  • private address
  • work or private e-mail address
  • work or private telephone number
  • Date and place of birth

The storage of the above data and its processing for the purposes stated below is a requirement for the issue of a duplicate. The data will be used exclusively for issuing the duplicate. This means that they are stored for the purpose of organizing the duplicate. The data will not be passed on. The data is stored in anonymized form for the purpose of statistical evaluations for documentation. Personal data is deleted after 60 years. Subsequent issuing of academic transcripts or duplicates is no longer possible.

With my application for a duplicate transcript from Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts, I consent to the storage and processing of my personal data to the extent described above.

Legal basis for data processing

Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR

There are no other recipients to whom personal data is forwarded.

There is no transfer of personal data to a third country or an international organization.

Participants have the right to information, correction and deletion of their personal data or to data transfer (Art. 15 - 17 or 20 GDPR) as well as the right to revoke consent once given. Participants have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
