Auditing
The Examination Department supports Academic Quality Development and the faculties in matters relating to examinations and recognition. In particular
- coordinates changes and amendments to the framework regulations of Hochschule RheinMain.
- advises and supports the degree programs with regard to changes to examination regulations and admission statutes.
- advises the degree programs on questions regarding the interpretation and implementation of existing examination regulations.
- advises the Examination Boards on issues relating to appeals by students.
- analyzes the effectiveness of regulations in the examination regulations and admission statutes and helps to shape them based on evidence.
- Constructs and develops knowledge databases relating to examination matters.
- prepares de-registration notices in accordance with §65 (2) No. 6 and §65 (4) Hess HG.
- coordinates the appeal procedures in the context of disenrollment.
- supports and advises on questions regarding the implementation of the recognition statutes as well as recognition and crediting.
- maintains and develops the KommA recognition portal.
- coordinates the introduction of the electronic student file (ESA)

KommA office hours
The KommA office hours are an open format for recognition officers and offices dealing with recognition issues and tasks in KommA. During the office hours, specific cases are discussed and recognition issues are addressed. It takes place every 2nd Wednesday from 10.00 - 11.00 am.
