Cooperative doctorates
In a cooperative doctoral procedure, your doctorate will be supervised by a professor at HSRM and a professor at a university or higher education institution with an independent right to award doctorates. Your workplace is mainly at HSRM, but the doctorate is awarded by the cooperating institution.
A cooperative doctorate is possible in all faculties of the HSRM and is particularly suitable in those areas in which the HSRM does not have an independent right to award doctorates.
In some subject areas there are long-standing cooperations with universities:
Cooperation with universities
The SENSYBLE doctoral program researches adaptive, self-interweaving IT systems for the living environments of the future. The research training group is jointly supported by the DCSM faculty at Hochschule RheinMain and the Institute of Computer Science at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main.
The Center for Advanced E-Business Studies (CAEBUS) at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences was founded in 2014 and since then has been continuously exploring the various facets of digitalization and e-business. The Center's mission is to develop innovative and sustainable e-business models and solutions in accordance with economic and regulatory frameworks. The Center researches solutions based on detailed studies of user needs, cultural requirements and conditions for economic efficiency.
