If nonadmission to the degree program named in the application for admission would mean exceptional hardship for you, you have the option of submitting a petition in cases of hardship. Exceptional hardship exists if there are special social or family reasons that make it absolutely necessary for you to start your studies immediately. The application for admission in accordance with the hardship guidelines must be submitted with the application for admission. In the petition in cases of hardship, a detailed, conclusive justification for the special exceptional situation must be presented and corresponding proof must be provided. The ranking of applicants is determined by the degree of exceptional hardship.
What is an application for compensation for disadvantages?
In special life situations, you can submit an application for compensation for disadvantages.
You can submit an application to improve your average grade if reasons beyond your control prevented you from achieving a better average grade when acquiring your higher education entrance qualification.
You can submit an application to improve your waiting period if you were prevented from obtaining your higher education entrance qualification at an earlier date for reasons for which you are not responsible.
Second-time applicants cannot submit these applications.
