Enrollment (enrollment)
Enrollment takes place by first entering the data required for the enrollment application online on the application portal.
Enrollment can be denied in accordance with Section 63 (2) of the Higher Education Act of the State of Hesse in conjunction with Sections 1-4 of the enrollment statutes of RheinMain University of Applied Sciences as amended if applicants do not observe the form and deadline of the enrollment application, i.e. the application is submitted late or incomplete.
Please note: The enrollment application is valid for enrollment in the first regular semester of study.
If you have already completed a number of credits, we recommend that you apply for a higher regular semester of study at the same time. In this case, your achievements will be checked for creditability during the application process and you may be able to enter a higher regular semester of study.
Submit your enrollment application by the specified deadlines at the latest. These are preclusive time limits, so applications received later will not be considered. Pay the semester fees into the account of Hochschule RheinMain.
Enrollment must be rejected if, among other things, your application is received late, the proof submitted does not meet the required form or content, or a preliminary, intermediate or final examination for the desired degree program has been definitively failed.
As the volume of applications is particularly high at the end of the deadline, it cannot be guaranteed that you will be enrolled in time before the start of lectures and that you will receive your access data to the higher education IT systems at the start of lectures if you submit your application late. You should therefore submit your enrollment application as early as possible.
In absolutely exceptional cases, the higher education institution may be forced to shorten the enrollment period for a degree program if it becomes clear that the number of enrollment applications is so high that a proper study environment can no longer be guaranteed with further enrollments. Corresponding information will be published on the homepage of www.hs-rm.de or on the online portal.
If you want to enroll in a first regular semester of study in an open undergraduate degree program, follow these steps for enrollment.
It is necessary to find out exactly what the entry requirements are - such as previous internships or aptitude tests - for your desired degree program under degree programs before applying for it.
Special features of dual computer science courses: You cannot start online enrollment directly for these degree programs. The first step is to examine whether a training/study contract with a cooperating company exists. If the existence of a correct contractual relationship has been examined positively, you can proceed with enrollment as described above. ATTENTION: The examination of the supporting documents may take some time, so it is necessary to apply for enrollment in good time.
After receipt of the complete supporting documents (including receipt of payment), you will be enrolled in the Admissions Office and will receive information about starting at the higher education institution by email. Enrollment is only possible once all supporting documents have been submitted and the semester fees have been received.
Please upload the following proofs as .pdf files together with your enrollment application in the application portal of Hochschule RheinMain:

- Certificate of enrollment stating the subject and university semesters for all semesters studied to date in the Federal Republic of Germany - for double degree programs

A certificate is only not required if there is no doubt that the degree program is not related, e.g. Architecture and Social Work. If the certificate of examination eligibility indicates a final failed attempt, it will be examined whether admission to the chosen degree program is possible. A certificate stating that a failed attempt does not lead to the loss of the right to take examinations is also suitable.
* Applicants with an intermediate level of education and a qualified degree: Proof of university entrance qualification = a) secondary school leaving certificate + b) certificate of completion of at least three years of recognized vocational training completed after 01.01.2011 with a grade of at least 2.5.
