More first-semester students again: Hochschule RheinMain welcomes almost 3,000 new students

First semester welcome at Hochschule RheinMain in the Schlachthof Cultural Center on October 13, 2025.

In the winter semester 2025/26, 2,900 young people will begin their studies at Hochschule RheinMain (HSRM) in Wiesbaden and Rüsselsheim. This means that a total of 12,648 students will be enrolled in HSRM.

"I am very pleased that more first-semester students are starting their studies at Hochschule RheinMain again! At the HSRM, we promote motivated talents through application-oriented studies and qualify them as subjects and managers - for practical experience, science or founding their own company. The HSRM offers students a wide range of opportunities: direct exchange with lecturers with practical experience, very good contacts with medium-sized and large companies or scholarships and advisory services as well as organizational support for a stay abroad," said University President Prof. Dr. Eva Waller at the start of the new semester.

The first semester students were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Waller and Christiane Hinninger, Mayor of the City of Wiesbaden, at the Schlachthof cultural center. At the Rüsselsheim Campus, the students were welcomed by the President of the University, Patrick Burghardt, Mayor of the City of Rüsselsheim am Main, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Christian Glockner.

At both locations, the first semester students had the opportunity to find out about the numerous services offered by the university at various stands.
