Agreement Signed for the Cooperative Bachelor's Degree Program in Tax Law.

The President of Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Prof. Dr. Eva Waller, and the President of the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Tax Consultants, StB Ldw. Buchst. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Walter Sesterhenn, have signed a cooperation agreement for the cooperative bachelor’s degree program in tax law.

This agreement comes ahead of the launch of the new cooperative degree program in the 2026/2027 winter semester. In the future, dual students will receive practical training in tax consulting each year in collaboration with partner companies.

The degree program combines theory and practical experience through close collaboration between the university, the chambers of tax consultants, and partner companies. The specialized curriculum specifically prepares students for careers in tax consulting. In addition, after completing a certain number of semesters, students can take the examination to become a tax clerk.

Closely Integrated with Practical Experience

Specialization options in the areas of “International Tax” and “Tax Compliance/Inheritance Tax” allow students to develop their own professional profiles and open up career opportunities in both internationally active firms and smaller, mid-sized firms.

The cooperative Bachelor’s program is designed for prospective students with higher education entrance qualifications who are pursuing a career in tax consulting and wish to integrate their studies closely with practical experience.

Interested partner firms and prospective students can contact Prof. Dr. Christian Fink: christian.fink@hs-rm.de.
